shopping trip to St George - 17jun07

it was my off day again, and i signed up to go to St george.
But this trip was a disappointment, didn't get to go shop alot. The driver was a bit kuku.. he dun even know how to go to St George!! He even asked if we know which exit it is!!!
In the end, he drop us off at walmart only! Yes, I like walmart, but not spending the whole afternoon there! Goodness......
How can not like walmart!? Look at the selection of shoes! And thats only ONE shelf i took! There are soooo many shelves lor!!!!
i bought a scientific calculator! 6usd only! Was 16USD i think. Singapore sell SGD20+++ lor!! Dun buy wasted leh..
At the carpark saw a Mustang quite chio.. so i take lor!

lake powell - 12th june

it was my day off again, and i went on a trip to lake powell.

lake powell is a "lake created from a desert, by building a dam across the Colorado River and harnessing the waters into the lake".

seriously, it was a disappointment. It was just rocks and waters! Such a disappointment!! No sand, no beach!! Urgh!! Gimme Redang anytime!

But there was a nice catch: We went to walmart, and I got new clothes! Wheeee!!!
Mighty Mouse tee shirt! was 9.93got it at a bargain at 5usd
was 7.93got it at 3usd!!!
was 12.83 got it at 6usd
Am I a bargain hunter or what??!! Haha!!

We had a BBQ Nite!!!
But the chefs/cooks did the BBQ-ing, whilst we just sit there and eat! Shioks anot??!

i went raking!

To waste away some free time off my hands and to earn some extra cash, I went raking.
Raking means to sweep away the pine needles that are potential fire starters.

Me, being a avid...er.. photographer(wannabe), I always bring my digital camera along, wherever i go,lest I miss some good shots.

WOW! I totally love this dinner i had a few days back!!

top left of plate is pork ribs! Good! Better than Kenny Rogers. At the bottom is tilapia. Although it is a cheap fish, there weren't any fishy smells! And the spices make the fish taste so good! I wanted a 2nd helping but it was emptied!
